Doubly heavy baryon production at polarized photon collider
We study the inclusive production of doubly heavy baryon Ξcc at polarized photon collider. Our results show that proper choice of the initial beam polarizations may increase the production rate of Ξcc approximately 10%.
متن کاملFactorization Approach for Inclusive Production of Doubly Heavy Baryon
We study inclusive production of doubly heavy baryon at a ee collider and at hadron colliders through fragmentation. We study the production by factorizing nonpertubativeand perturbative effects. In our approach the production can be thought as a two-step process: A pair of heavy quarks can be produced perturbatively and then the pair is transformed into the baryon. The transformation is nonper...
متن کاملTop quark pair production and decay at a polarized photon collider
Top quark pair production by (polarized) γγ collisions offers an interesting testing ground of the Standard Model and its extensions. In this Letter we present results for differential cross sections of top quark pair production and decay including QCD radiative corrections. We take into account the full dependence on the top quark spins. We give analytic and numerical results for single and do...
متن کاملHeavy Quark Production at the TESLA Collider and its Sensitivity to the Gluon Content in Photon
Heavy quark production is studied at the high energy linear ee collider (LC) TESLA both in its nominal and Photon Collider (PC) mode. Leading order cross-sections are calculated for the production of heavy quarks, ee → ee Q(Q̄)X, at high transverse momenta. The sensitivity of this process to the gluon content in the photon is studied. An ee linear collider with a centre of mass system (CMS) ener...
متن کاملVector Meson Production at a Polarized HERA Collider
A successful interpretation of the cross sections for elastic and inelastic vector meson production can be made if one assumes the underlying dynamics to be governed by hard partonic subprocesses. Extending these partonic approaches to longitudinally polarized electron-proton collisions, we estimate the expected production asymmetries at the HERA collider. The anticipated statistical errors on ...
